When in-progress and final versions of
the same work coexist on the Internet, it is difficult to identify which
version is the latest one.
We have to make sure to cite appropriate version of our reference
source.
How
to cite?
Ø Cite
the archival version or version of record, which has been peer-reviewed and may
provide additional links to online supplemental material.
Ø If
the latest version available was an advance release version at the time that
you originally cited it, recheck the source and update its publication status
as close as possible to the publication date of you work.
