Summary
The government of China announced a plan to increase the percentage of green and renewable energy as power resources because they want to resolve severe air pollution problem and seize the initiative in field of Ecofriendly power technology. In 2013, China had already invested huge amounts of money in wind, solar and hydro power station. Surprisingly, the total amount of that is “21 percent of all global renewable investment” (Christopher & Jean, 2015). In addition, this country is conducting research on clean coal technology. Their future challenge is to decide by 2030 the upper limit of carbon dioxide emissions from the coal-fired power plants.
