Summary of the Presentation (Eva & Du)

From this article, firstly, we can know that the history of chocolate starts out in Latin America. Then Spanish conquistadors took chocolate back to Europe; therefore, chocolate spreads in Europe. Secondly, it is said that there are several origins of Valentine’s Day. One is the early Catholic Church martyred a priest named Valentine then declared Feb. 14 as St. Valentine’s Day. Finally, we can know chocolate becomes necessary gifts on Valentine’s Day, as eating chocolate can make people feel love.
