Different management style between UK and PRC

In China, State-owned enterprises are the main body of nation's economy. Management is highly centralized, As reported by Cultural Influences on Management Style (2011), “The Chinese manager is seen as a type of traditional father figure, and often functions autocratically.” This pattern can concentrate the power of the collective for rapid development, but enthusiasm of the working masses can not be reflected. This led to the supervision system can not be effective in most instances.

The British System of nobility led most enterprise managers do everything possible to join the upper class. Therefore, the values of British entrepreneurs more particular about social status. This is means that in the UK, business proprietors are hidebound, their adventurous spirit is poor.
